Pistol is passing on his great disposition and work ethic in a package that is second to none. His colts are easy to start, with a lot of cow sense and athletic ability. They are being used on the ranch and in the arena with great success. Good bone, good feet, and big hips!  His sire, Young Gun, has quickly climbed to number 20 of cutting's Top 30 Sires.  He is by Freckles Playboy (number 3 of the Top 30 Sires) out of Leanette, 1975 NCHA Open Futurity Champion and one of the top producing mares of all time.
